You may wonder why bloggers feature different morning or night routines at different times of the year, and while most people maintain one universal routine, I personally like to change up my routine based on the condition of my skin and my current school schedule! So here is my current nighttime routine for healthy skin and restful sleep!
I typically get ready for bed around 9:30 or 10:00 pm since my classes start at 8:30 every morning. After I finish my homework and take a shower, I start my skincare with a double cleanse using Take The Day Off cleansing balm from Clinique and the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser. These products are very gentle for the skin and don’t dry out which is perfect in winter. Next I use a toner, currently I use Step 2 from the Clinique 3 Step System for normal to dry skin. I follow this step with two serums, one from Lancôme, and the other from Dr. Jart to plump my skin and control redness. Some nights I add a mask or two, and since I am currently treating my under eye area, I love the eye patches from Peter Thomas Roth! They’re perfect for puffiness and dark circles!
While I wait for these masks or eye patches to dry, I brush my teeth, change into pajamas, and respond to emails. Once they’re done, I finish my skincare routine with The Water Cream from Tatcha and the maracuja-c eye cream from Tarte, two great, all-in-one products for hydration!
